Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a freelance agronomist or technical expert to join our team and contribute to the successful development and implementation of the AI-powered pest detection and crop health management system. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of crop physiology, pest management, and phytosanitary surveillance. They should be adept at interpreting agricultural data, understanding crop health indicators, and providing insights that will guide the development of the AI models to address the specific challenges within this domain. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: Education: A degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Pathology, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) in relevant fields are preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in crop management, pest detection, and phytosanitary surveillance Hands-on experience with agricultural data analysis and working with remote sensing technologies (satellite, drone, mobile imagery) is a plus Strong knowledge of AI applications in agriculture is highly desirable Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex agricultural data Excellent understanding of pest detection, crop health monitoring, and related industry best practices Familiarity with remote sensing technologies and GIS platforms Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment,
