Location: Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune - Hybrid / Remote About the Role / Responsibilities: Formulate cloud migration and modernization strategy for customers Understand customers business and technical challenges; design and present compelling technological solutions with clear technical and economic (TCO etc.) value proposition Present solution options and recommendations balancing feasibility, technological relevance and commercial considerations Drive architecture and implementation of best-in-class cloud migration and modernization solutions with high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Lead architecture and implementation of optimized, cost-efficient, high- performance and secure cloud infrastructure to host data and applications Incorporate automation and orchestration for infrastructure, network and security utilizing appropriate DevOps and DevSecOps tools and practices Assess requirements for DR, security (based on recommendations from CSPM, Defenders, SIEM or similar) and tailor solution accordingly Formulate and deliver high-reliability cloud solutions by implementing observability across various layers Own the delivery process end-end from design through implementation to resolution of any issues that may arise with a bias towards agile, systematic and thorough execution Build scalable tools, processes and culture to foster delivery excellence Develop automated tools, accelerators and frameworks to drive delivery quality and efficiency Formulate playbooks to standardize best practices Guide and mentor cloud architects and engineers Build a culture of competence and knowledge sharing Be recognized as a cloud technology and delivery evangelist Sustained expertise on cloud-based computing (containers/serverless), end-end cloud automation and orchestration, with a keen eye for emerging trends and technologies that could be relevant About the Right Person for the role: Deep experience in design, consulting and implementation of cloud infrastructure and platforms, with particular familiarity in AWS cloud technologies and tools 5+ years of experience at an architect level with a total experience of 10+ years Great track record of working effectively with mid-size and/or enterprise customers Hands-on experience leading and implementing large-scale cloud migration and modernization projects, preferably to AWS Hands-on experience designing/architecting and implementing container based (Kubernetes, Docker etc.) solutions at scale; AWS or opensource experience would be particularly relevant Knowledge and understanding of serverless solutions (Lambda) Familiarity and experience in using automation and orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible etc. Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, IP addressing & Subnetting, HTTP(S), FTP, SMTP, VPN) Expertise in at least 2 of the below areas: Databases, including managed databases; AWS managed database experience and any migration/implementation experience in RDS would be particularly valued.
