Job Description
- Key Responsibilities: Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions using C# and .NET technologies. Architecture & Design: Participate in the architectural design and development of software applications. Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to software development standards and best practices. Code Review: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across the development team. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex software issues and bugs in a timely manner. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, processes, and code for future reference and ease of maintenance. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and continuously seek to improve development practices and processes. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2. Proven experience (minimum 4 years) developing applications using the Revit API and Autodesk Revit software. 3. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and Python. 4. Strong understanding of BIM principles, Revit data structure, and interoperability between Revit and other software platforms. 5. Experience with software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions. 7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 8. Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. 9. Autodesk certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Architectural Design) are a plus. 10. Portfolio or examples of previous Revit API development projects will be highly regarded.
