Job Description

Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (.NET, C#, API, TDD) Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Developer with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, API development, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building scalable web applications, writing clean and testable code, and implementing unit tests to ensure code quality. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using ASP.NET (Core/Framework) and C#. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications. Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and write unit tests using xUnit/NUnit/MSTest. Implement and maintain software development best practices, including SOLID principles and clean architecture. Work with Entity Framework (EF Core) for data access and optimize database queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, testers, and product managers. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Work with CI/CD pipelines for deployment and automation. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API/Core. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. Hands-on experience in Unit Testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and Mocking frameworks (Moq, NSubstitute, FakeItEasy). Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing test cases before implementation. Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and tools like Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI). Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework (EF Core), LINQ. Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus. Exposure to Microservices architecture and event-driven development is an advantage. Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
