Job Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Content Writer to join our team in Bengaluru, Bangalore. This is a full-time mid-level position requiring a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in content creation, SEO (Mandatory skill), and have proficiency in various content management systems. We are looking for a creative and passionate Junior Content Writer to join our team in the online gaming industry. The ideal candidate will assist in creating engaging and informative content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and in-game narratives. Responsibilities Content Creation: Write high-quality, original content for online gaming platforms, including articles, blog posts, and social media posts. Craft compelling narratives and descriptions for in-game elements, characters, and storylines. SEO Optimization Implement SEO best practices to enhance the discoverability of gaming content. Conduct keyword research to inform content creation strategies. Social Media Copywriting Create engaging and shareable social media content that aligns with gaming promotions and events. Develop Concise and impactful copy for social media posts and advertisements. Collaboration Collaborate with game developers, designers, and marketing teams to gather information and insights for content creation. Work closely with the design team to integrate written content seamlessly into gaming platforms. Editing And Proofreading Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines. Collaborate with the editing team to refine and improve content quality. Community Engagement Engage with the gaming community through forums, social media, and other platforms. Monitor community feedback and incorporate insights into content creation. Creative Ideation Contribute creative ideas for new content themes, campaigns, and storytelling approaches. Participate in brainstorming sessions for in-game narratives and character development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field. Portfolio showcasing writing samples, preferably with a focus on gaming or entertainment. Strong writing and storytelling skills with a creative flair. Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research. Ability to adapt writing style to suit different platforms and target audiences. Basic understanding of online gaming culture and trends. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new content creation trends and strategies. Passion for online gaming. Preferred Skills Experience with narrative design for games. Basic knowledge of game development processes. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Previous experience in gaming journalism or content creation. Understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
