Job Title: QE Head Insurance Domain Location: Coimbatore Experience: 15+ years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QE Head to lead and drive the quality strategy for our insurance technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, automation, and assurance, with expertise in insurance products, underwriting, claims, policy administration, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic leader who can establish and optimize QA frameworks, test automation, and performance testing while collaborating with business and technology teams. Key Responsibilities: Quality Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the end-to-end QE strategy for insurance platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Test Automation & Frameworks: Develop and enhance automation frameworks for functional, API, regression, and performance testing. Domain-Specific Testing: Ensure thorough testing of insurance applications (policy admin, claims, underwriting, billing) with domain-specific scenarios. Regulatory & Compliance Testing: Validate compliance with insurance regulations (IRDAI, NAIC, FCA, etc.) and ensure adherence to security and data protection standards. Performance & Scalability: Establish performance, load, and security testing strategies to ensure application stability and scalability. CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Work closely with DevOps teams to implement shift-left testing, CI/CD automation, and continuous quality improvement. Team Management & Mentorship: Lead a global team of QA engineers, automation testers, and domain specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business, development, product, and IT teams to align quality objectives with business goals. Defect Management & Risk Mitigation: Establish robust defect tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies to proactively address quality concerns. Key Skills & Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in Quality Engineering & Assurance, with a strong background in the Insurance domain. Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI. Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing practices. Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of policy administration, claims, underwriting, and compliance testing in the insurance sector. Familiarity with cloud-based insurance solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and digital transformation initiatives. Experience in working with Agile, SAFe, or DevOps methodologies. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
