Job Purpose: As Cyber Security Manager in the Cyber Security Assurance (CSA) Team, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting the current state of security across Maersk. This will be completed by conducting compliance assessments against Maersks Cyber Security Standards, as well as considering global laws and regulations. In addition to performing security assessments, you will make recommendations to improve control effectiveness and work with the Governance and Global Security teams to manage the implementation of these changes. You will need to remain flexible and be willing to change direction at short notice as business requirements change. Ad-hoc reporting and one-off assessments will need to be undertaken, and you will need to be able to co-ordinate such activities as part of the teams overall commitments. You will be part of a highly regarded team and will be given the opportunity to thrive and show your true worth Key Responsibilities: Perform Internal Security Assessments and Reviews. Report on compliance levels against security related standards and applicable laws and regulations. Manage remediation activities and audit findings. Conduct configuration and documentation reviews. Establish and measure meaningful security metrics. Manage external Audits. Measurement and reporting of control effectiveness. Promote Cyber Security good practices and represent Cyber Security on all levels within Maersk Qualification: One or more of the following qualifications or experience should be met by the candidate: A degree in computer sciences, information management or another related area (a bachelors degree can be accepted if experience is extensive), or relevant expertise. One or more Information Security Certifications such as; CISSP, CISM or CISA. Minimum 5 years experience of information security in a global or medium to large business. Broad IT knowledge (networks, architecture, Cloud etc). - Experience conducting security assessments in a complex, global environment with minimal supervision. - Experience of conducting and managing IT Audits. Knowledge of international regulatory and compliance frameworks. Proven ability to work independently and effectively prioritize in a dynamic and decentralized work environment. Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current information security events and trends Strong personal impact with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the business. - Handles most situations independently but will timely seek advice and guidance on more complex issue. - Naturally inquisitive with a flair for complex problem solving. Being able to explain complex scenarios in a concise manner. Being able to articulate the risks in a language that the business understands. Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities. Excellent planning and organisational skills. High attention to detail and excellent written skills. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy and honest Primary Stakeholders: - Chief Information Security Officer CISO. - Deputy CISO. - Cyber Security Officers (CSO). - Other Cyber Security Teams Primary External Stakeholders: Maersks External Auditor.
