- Job Description: The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and technical skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.Meeting the Production plan and machine utilization as per requirement from PlanningCNC machining knowledge & Assembly knowledgeKnowledge of production planning.Knowledge on Modern Manufacturing techniques.Knowledge on Problem solving techniques.Knowledge on Six sigma is an added advantageKnowledge on TPMPeople Management Skills Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the CNC Machine Shop and Assembly departmentsEnsure that production schedules are met and products are manufactured to the required specificationsManage the resources, including manpower, machines, and materials, required for productionDevelop and implement processes, procedures & man power to improve efficiency and quality.Monitor and maintain the performance of the CNC machines and assembly equipmentIdentify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks that may ariseEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality Assurance, to achieve overall company objectives.Ensure proper 5s in the shop floor and create the 5s culture in the shop floor.Effectively control & Monitor the Work in progress Inventory level.Create Continuous Improvement culture in the shop floor.Create the culture of structured problem solving techniques among the supervisor levels.Create Quality circle concepts among the operator level and make operators to understand MY MACHINE Concept.Periodically plot Skill matrix and train the people accordingly.
