In one sentence Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging and/or maintenance of software systems. Works on specific modules, applications or technologies, and deals with sophisticated assignments during the software development process. What will your job look like Key Responsibilities: Software Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications. Adherence to Standards: Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies, and release processes to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable. Issue Investigation & Resolution: Investigate issues by reviewing and debugging code, providing fixes and workarounds, and ensuring changes are operable to maintain existing software solutions. Collaboration & Peer Reviews: Work within a team environment, collaborating with peers and cross-functional teams. Actively participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and suggest improvements. Technical Accountability & Support: Assume technical accountability for your work products within an application and provide technical support during the solution design for new requirements. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Actively seek innovation and opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency in all assigned tasks. All you need is. Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent Professional & Relevant Experience 3+ years on Tandem technologies like COBOL, Netbatch, Pathway, ENFORM, SCOBOL, TACL, TAL, SQL, FUP Good to have - Java, C Maintenance, Support & Development in Tandem Application Shift Working (1-10 or 3-12, but flexibility as per business need) Provide production support (resolve job abends) for customer applications for any issue Why you will love this job: The chance to serve as a specialist in software and technology.
