Roles and Responsibilities: A Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of a project from inception to completion. Their responsibilities are diverse and multifaceted, focusing on meeting project objectives within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 1. Project Planning A project manager is responsible for planning the project comprehensively. This includes: Defining the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders. Developing a detailed project plan outlining tasks, schedules, budgets, resources, and milestones. Ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations. 2. Resource Management Efficient resource allocation is key to project success. Responsibilities include: Managing both human and material resources effectively. Assigning the right tasks to the right team members based on their expertise. Ensuring the project has all necessary resources available at the right time. 3. Time Management Keeping the project on track requires: Setting realistic deadlines and ensuring adherence to schedules. Prioritizing tasks and addressing bottlenecks proactively. Responsibilities include: Keeping detailed documentation of project elements, including contracts, plans, financial statements, and communications. Ensuring project records are organized and accessible for future reference. Technical & Coordination Skills. In addition to managerial skills, a project manager should possess: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. In-depth understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for web applications. Ability to coordinate with the mobile development team to ensure seamless integration. Technical knowledge of PHP, Node.js, frontend JavaScript frameworks, and APIs to understand development challenges and provide informed guidance.
