- About The Job As a Senior Engineering Manager of Artificial Intelligence, you will be leading our AI team in developing cutting-edge AI solutions for humanoid robots at JioTesseract. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and robotics to guide the team and drive innovation. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of engineers, overseeing the development of AI models and algorithms, and ensuring the successful integration of AI capabilities with humanoid robotic systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and technical expertise in AI development and robotics. What You'll Be Doing. AI Strategy and Roadmap Lead the creation and execution of the AI strategy, ensuring alignment with Jio Tesseract's product and business goals. Identify opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to enhance humanoid robot functionality. Keep up to date with AI advancements and emerging technologies to continuously evolve the AI strategy. Leadership and Team Management Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and researchers to design and develop advanced AI models for humanoid robots. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team culture. Guide the team in AI development best practices, model evaluation, and testing. AI Development and Execution Oversee the development of AI systems, including perception, decision-making, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning. Ensure seamless integration of AI with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams. Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of complex AI systems for real-time robot decision-making and navigation. Research and Innovation Spearhead AI research to advance the capabilities of humanoid robots. Stay ahead of industry trends, driving the development of state-of-the-art AI techniques. Collaborate with external research institutes, universities, and AI communities to drive innovation. Cross-functional closely with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate AI with robotic systems. Ensure AI development meets both technical specifications and product goals. Talent Acquisition and Development Lead the recruitment, retention, and development of top-tier AI talent for the team. Mentor engineers, fostering professional growth and technical expertise. Business Impact and Reporting Communicate technical progress, challenges, and future roadmaps to senior executives and stakeholders. Use performance metrics to assess AI development success and its impact on product outcomes. Identify opportunities for optimization and scaling of AI solutions to maximize business impact. What We Need To See Core Expertise 10+ years of AI development experience, including leadership in AI-driven robotics projects. Expertise in AI for robotics, particularly in computer vision, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing. Proficiency in Python, C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI/ML frameworks. Deep understanding of robot perception, SLAM, and real-time AI decision-making systems. Leadership & Collaboration : Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment.
