About This Team The Mainframe Operations team is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our mainframe systems. This team plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our mainframe infrastructure, which supports various business applications and processes. What You Will Be Doing The candidate will be involved in monitoring and managing batch processing operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely completion of scheduled jobs He/She will also be responsible for maintaining system documentation, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve any operational challenges Additionally, he/she will handle SNOW incidents, ensuring they are logged, categorized, prioritized, and resolved efficiently What You Bring Clear understanding of Batch architecture~ The candidate should have a strong grasp of batch processing concepts, including job scheduling, execution, and monitoring Should have 1-2 years of experience in mainframe operations Operations basics~ Knowledge of mainframe operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance Technical skills~ Proficiency in mainframe technologies and tools such as JCL (Job Control Language), TSO/ISPF, and SDSF, Familiarity of scheduling tools such as CA7, Zeke, ZWS/TWS/OPC, Control-M, ESP for mainframe batch monitoring Problem-solving abilities~ Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently ServiceNow (SNOW) Incident Management~ Experience in handling SNOW incidents, including incident identification, logging, categorization, prioritization, assignment, initial diagnosis, escalation, resolution, and closure.
