- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Canadian Accounting and Year-End Preparer to join our team. As part of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reviewing year-end tax filings, financial statements, and other accounting-related tasks for our Canadian clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Canadian tax laws, accounting principles, and experience with year-end reporting processes. A Inter In-depth Knowledge of #accounting standards. #regulations, #Bookkeeping Job Responsibilities : Reconcilations, MS Excel, Quickbooks Prepare year-end financial statements and related reports for Canadian clients. Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns, including T2 filings, GST/HST returns, and other required filings. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, balancing of accounts, and year-end adjustments. Review and reconcile general ledger and accounts for discrepancies. Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit processes as required. Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations, including proper filing of tax forms and deadlines. Prepare and maintain working papers and supporting documentation for audits and tax filings. Assist clients with inquiries related to year-end tax matters and accounting questions.
