Job Description
- Job Role: Sr. Engineer - Data Center Operations Experience: 3 - 8 years Location: IGI Airport, Delhi Budget: 8 LPA Position Overview: As a Data Center Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our organization's data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of all data center systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency. Your expertise in data center technologies will be instrumental in supporting our business-critical operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Data Center Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor data center hardware, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and cooling systems. Perform regular hardware inspections, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Manage critical and non-critical processes. Document all records, including time sheets and warranty certificates. Schedule preventive maintenance activities. Manage critical and non-critical processes. Guide junior members within the team. Manage recurring problems. Responsible for maintaining detailed documentation of all deployed IT assets within the data center. Document system problems and resolutions for future reference. Data Center Network and Connectivity: Configure and manage data center network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls. Optimize network connectivity to maintain high availability and low latency. Server virtualization and cloud integration. Ensure access controls in the premises. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues in data center systems. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and service interruptions. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of data center configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions. Generate regular reports on data center performance, capacity, and incidents. Qualifications and Skills: Any UG/Graduate. Proven experience as a Data Center Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on experience managing data center infrastructure. Strong knowledge of data center hardware, networking, and storage technologies. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms. Understanding of data center security practices and compliance requirements. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving data center-related incidents. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
