Roles & Responsibilities,

Major / Primary Responsibilities:
1. Software Application Development in an Agile Product development environment
2. Timely and defect free delivery.
3. Understanding of functional/ technical documents provided by the client.
4. Requirements analysis, Design, Development
5. Estimation of tasks.
6. Providing prompt customer support and timely resolution of support calls.
7. Coding following the standards set, Unit Testing and Integration Testing.
8. Performing Code review of peers and ensuring process is followed strictly by peers
9. Interaction with the client / attending client meetings as and when required.
10. Providing prompt customer support and timely resolution of support calls.

Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that the KRA/KPI points set are met in a time bound fashion.
2. Communication with superiors on status/progress of tasks and support calls.
3. Providing training to peers, new members on specific technical topics and also on product domain
and application.
4. Participating actively in daily stand up meetings and other internal meetings.
5. Ensuring adherence to Quality management, Quality process and standards, documentation
6. Sending out daily status updates and updating daily time sheets.
7. Maintaining proper office hours and ensuring that leaves are availed following HR rules

Experience:
Must Have:
1. Overall 4 + years of software application development experience in Java / J2EE
2. Expertise in core Java / J2EE
3. Expertise in JSP and Servlets
4. Experience in Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate
5. Experience in working with databases like Oracle, MS-SQL Server and MySQL
6. Experience with working with Web Services ( REST, SOAP)
7. Knowledge of web / application services like JBoss, Apache Tomcat
8. Knowledge of Jasper Reports
9. Knowledge of Boot Strap
10. Knowledge of tools like Sonar cube, CI ( Jenkins), Maven
11. Knowledge of working with version control tools like SVN
12. Understand UML diagrams
13. Excellent oral, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

1. Experience in working with US based clients and multi-culture teams
2. Good team player
3. Leadership capabilities
