Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Solar division, located in Chennai. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients, promoting the company's brand, and achieving revenue targets. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of. experience in sales or business development, preferably in the Solar Energy industry Bachelors degree or higher in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans and conducting market research Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve common goals Experience working with CRM tools and managing sales pipelines Willingness to travel locally to meet with clients and attend industry events
