Job Description - Cyber Security Job Responsibilities: 1) Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to security incidents. Analyze security data and investigate potential threats. 2) Security Tools: Utilize security tools and software (e.g., SIEM systems, antivirus, intrusion detection systems) to identify vulnerabilities and potential breaches. 3) Incident Response: Assist in incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery. Document incident details and lessons learned. 4) Patch Management: Help maintain and update systems, applications, and security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities. 5) Security Awareness: Promote cybersecurity awareness among employees by providing training and guidance on best practices. 6) Security Policies: Adhere to and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards within the organization. 7) Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in. developing mitigation strategies. 8) Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and ongoing security measures. 9) Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001). 10) Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement security measures and address security concerns. Qualifications: 1) Education: A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required. 2) Certifications: Consider obtaining relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). 3) Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking protocols and technologies. Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS). Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including encryption, firewalls, and access control. 4) Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess and respond to security incidents. 5) Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills to document incidents and interact with colleagues and stakeholders. 6) Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to identify security issues and vulnerabilities. 7) Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 8) Ethical Mindset: A commitment to ethical behaviour and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data. 9) Adaptability: Cybersecurity is a rapidly evolving field; willingness to stay updated with the latest threats and technologies is essential Job Type: Internship Salary: 1,500.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Monday to Friday Speak with the employer +91 hidden_mobile
