Job Role Description As a National Sales Manager for our global online and bespoke sustainable travel and tourism business, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the growth of our business. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans. fostering client relationships, and ensuring the team's adherence to sustainable practices. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team, providing valuable insights to enhance promotional efforts and improve product positioning. Additionally, the Sales Manager will play a key role in identifying and establishing sustainable partnerships, contributing to the company's commitment to responsible and eco-friendly travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable tourism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales in a dynamic industry while promoting ethical and environmentally conscious travel. Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and business growth. Identify new market opportunities and innovative sales approaches in the sustainable travel and tourism sector. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and commitment to sustainable practices. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members. 3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and understanding of client needs. 4. Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's sustainable travel offerings, packages, and unique selling points. Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to enhance the competitiveness of our products. 5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast future sales trends. Prepare regular and accurate sales reports for management review. 6. Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives. Provide insights into customer preferences and market trends to optimize marketing efforts. 7. Sustainable Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with organizations that align with our sustainability values. Collaborate with eco-friendly hotels, tour operators, and other sustainable travel partners. 8. Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Ensure all contracts and agreements adhere to ethical and sustainable business practices. Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent in business, Marketing, or a related field of Tourism and Travel Minimum 5+ years" relevant experience in Tourism and Travel Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the travel and tourism industry. Knowledge of sustainable travel practices and trends. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
