Job Description As a tech manager, you will lead a team of Cloud Infrastructure engineers, design and implement a variety of requirements to support infrastructure/platform as a service on Azure and AWS cloud platforms. Your role will also be to ensure that you understand the needs of the stakeholders and convey this to the teams while following industry practices like fault tolerance, availability and observability. This role will also involve doing required POCs, wherever needed while designing/implementing any new requirement coming our way. What Are Your Responsibilities Need a bias towards action and experimentation, to iterate with teams and constantly evolve our tools and approach Uphold the "Automate Everything" philosophy within the team. Engage in the development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, responsible for hosting all cloud applications in both development and production environments. Lead and participate in design evaluations, ensuring engineering. designs align with the requirements of diverse cloud platforms. Collaborate with colleagues across products and platforms to ensure the reliability of our cloud services, supporting customers with uninterrupted access to critical applications 24/7. Effectively manage and troubleshoot server and platform issues. Perform analysis and monitoring of the performance of cloud-based infrastructure, installed applications, and shared resources. Manage the availability of infrastructure services within defined SLAs. Lead the cloud infrastructure team, recruit, and retain top talent, and coach and mentor the team members. What Makes You a Good Fit For This Role : Proficient in utilising DevOps tools within the Azure Cloud environment. Extensive expertise in cloud automation, employing Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD. Skilled in application containerization, Kubernetes cluster administration and management Practical experience in managing Content Delivery Networks (CDN), including Cloudflare and Akamai Hand-on scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash In-depth knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting tools such as NewRelic, Prometheus, Azure Monitor and Grafana Familiarity with EFK log management solutions. Robust experience with infrastructure and platform sizing, coupled with expertise in infrastructure cost reduction. Experience in Disaster Recover (DR) strategies for building highly available applications. Skilled in the application of agile methodologies and possessing expertise in overseeing agile teams. Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a willingness to mentor new team members. Proficient in web server administration, possessing strong skills in Windows, Linux, and networking. Hands-On experience in DNS management. Good To Have : Exposure to authorization and authentication techniques such as OAuth & OIDC Familiarity with compliance and security standards Skilled to write code in GoLang and Python (ref:hirist.com
