Job Description The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) is the cornerstone of our services engagements. He is expected to be a trusted advisor and a technology guide to our customers, and help in deployment, design and planning of complex technology deployments that are well aligned to customer business needs. The TSE is a vital cog in our customer relationship, and must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as leverage Quadras internal teams to deliver high quality services to our customers. This role is ideal for candidates who can commit to intense learning and field activity, and enjoy travelling, and troubleshooting complex problems. Selected candidates must be willing to relocate to our or end customers offices in Bangalore/Chennai/Coimbatore. Education and Experience 2-3 years of work experience in similar positions Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification Knowledge on cloud technology, different patterns, deployment methods. compatibility of the applications Experience in the following: Conceptual knowledge of Azure IaaS deployments and administration Experience on Azure IaaS core services which includes, Network Storage Compute Familiarity with OS Internals concepts, built-in diagnostics, Active Directory and Security (Windows and or Linux) Understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration Familiarity with SAN/NAS, Hyper-V/VMWare, iSCSI Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, NAT, DNS Working knowledge of troubleshooting tools including Sysinternals, Fiddler, Netmon, NetStat, Tracert etc. Familiarity with one, or more, shell environments (BASH, sh, tcsh, ksh, etc.) Familiarity with core OS services such as: SSH, telnet, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, Samba, LDAP, etc. Hands-on operations support with Virtual Networks, Network security group, Virtual machines, Load balancer, AKS, Azure Container Registry, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Front Door, Azure Firewall, RBAC & Azure AD. Experience in performing cost analysis, justify cloud-related costs to management and balance performance requirements against budget limitations. Experience with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Automation, Azure Log Analytics is a plus 1+ years experience in system development, network operations, software support or IT. consulting 1+ years of technical troubleshooting experience Success Factors Strong technology fundamentals networking and core infrastructure Up to date with current Azure cloud technologies Be part of organizations Incident, Problem and Change Management Process Actively participate in P1 calls during High priority incidents and provide faster restoration of services to the customer. Provide RCA for High priority incidents affecting customers within agreed window. Execute the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during the solutions development and deployment phases. Identify, communicate, and mitigate the assumptions, issues, and risks that occur throughout the entire project lifecycle. Should be able to work well as a team player. Must be flexible & adaptable to change. Key values - honesty, integrity, passion for customers and technology. Interface/Communication Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent presentation skills. Properly document Incident notes in the ITSM utility provided. Uses provided tools to update daily activities.
