Job description Design, develop and maintain software web applications primarily using next.js, node.js, postgreSQL and Go Manage and transition web applications from older technologies to modern web stacks Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to best practices and standards Assess and analyze the performance of software designs, providing evaluations, feedback, and recommendations for improvement Interact with users to understand and define system requirements and provide support Develop and maintain software documentation, such as design documents, user manuals and technical specifications Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills What we expect Exceptionally good full stack product developer with experience working in Next, React, Go, PostgreSQL, Database design and query handling Experience with RESTful Web Services/Microservices (JSON) creation Exceptional ability to evaluate design. effectiveness through performance measurement and testing Experience in large data parsing/processing using batch and stream mode Understanding of high volume data modeling and storage with NoSQL and relational DBs Proficiency with Linux, virtual machines, and open source tools/platforms Proficiency in crafting shell scripts for file manipulation using Unix commands is highly valued Experience using GIT repositories Experience in Agile Development methodologies would be desirable What we are looking for Solid understanding of building scalable Microservices/Webservices using Go Solid understanding of REST API standards and practices Strong object-oriented analysis and design patterns Participate in full integration testing Preferred experience with cloud technologies like AWS and GCP Candidate Profile Need a candidate who is enthusiastic about work and passionate about coding Must have the ability to think outside the box and appreciate innovation and change Adapt to the fast-paced and unpredictable environment of a startup, where flexibility in switching between projects and addressing immediate needs is essential Self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive Cares deeply about writing quality/testable/modular code Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills Able to comprehend and contribute during team meetings / updates Experience in a start-up environment desirable
