We're hiring for Linux (OS+OTS) Patching Specialist Location: Bangalore/ Hybrid years of experience : 3 - 5 Years Notice- Immediate to 30 days Salary - As per market standards Skills Required: Linux (OS+OTS) Patching Specialist We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Linux OS Patching Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive patching strategy for our Linux-based systems, ensuring the security and stability of our critical infrastructure Responsibilities: Develop and implement automated patching processes for various Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian). Stay up-to-date on the latest security vulnerabilities and patches for all relevant systems. Evaluate, test, and deploy security patches across the Linux environment. Troubleshoot patching issues and ensure successful deployment. Maintain detailed records of all patching activities. Provide technical guidance and. consulting to the team on Linux security and patching best practices. Generate reports on patching status and security vulnerabilities. Contribute to the development and improvement of our patching infrastructure and tools. Good expertise in Yocto and embedded systems is a plus. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with Linux administration and system management. Strong understanding of Linux security concepts and best practices.
