Learning and Development (L&D) Manager with Technical Skills Focus Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager with a strong background in technical skills training. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the technical capabilities of our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical concepts and methodologies, along with proven experience in developing effective training strategies. Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive training programs focused on enhancing technical skills across various departments. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant content and materials. Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive training modules. Assess current technical skill levels within the organization and identify areas for improvement. Develop training. initiatives aimed at upskilling employees in key technical areas, such as software development, engineering, data analysis, etc. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure training content remains relevant and effective. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually. Utilize various instructional techniques and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, soliciting feedback from participants and making adjustments as needed. Leverage technology platforms and tools to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training materials. Explore innovative approaches such as e-learning modules, virtual labs, and simulations to create immersive learning experiences. Manage all aspects of the training program lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and evaluation. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Track training metrics and provide regular reports to management on program effectiveness and ROI. Strong background in technical skills training, with expertise in areas such as software development, IT infrastructure, data analytics, etc. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience working in a corporate training environment, preferably within a technology-driven organization
