Location: Remote | Chennai | Hyderabad Curious about the role What your typical day would look like About the role: As a Leader in the DE/MLE BD team, you will take ownership in the client facing solutioning in the Data Engineering and ML Engineering domain. The. role involves the following responsibilities: Act as the central point of contact in managing the end-to-end process: evaluating requirements, creating the storyboard, first-cut solution, finalizing timelines and accountabilities as per deadlines and orals preparation materials Provide thought leadership on solution approaches focusing on both technical solutioning and business value thus building impactful clients presentations and pitches, using consulting framework as part of bid process Provide insight on customer expectations and tailor responses to exceed expectations and come out as a winner in the RFP process Set and own the project management plan throughout the bid (pursuit) cycle with critical milestones, coordinating with the Client facing, Delivery and Practice teams Assist the BD/Sales/Client Partner teams in leading proactive conversations as the Data Engineering representative, and effectively assess and qualify opportunities through these conversations Be the go-to person for presenting Tigers Data Engineering capabilities and proposals. Be the first point of contact for open ended requirements from customers, work with customers to breakdown the business demand into addressable and defined problems that architects can solution Optimize need for Architect bandwidth by creating simple solutions and handling initial scoping conversations independently Responsible for maintaining and building Point of View and proposal assets at an Account, Domain, Solution or Service Line level. Maintain the repository of recent client presentations, RFI / RFP responses and marketing collateral Establish and maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders building productive relationships; adhering to agreed timelines for deliverables and driving collaboration across various teams to drive success Lead and existing team and build a team of pre-sales consultants and structure the team effectively to build scale to meet demand What do we expect 15+ years of overall experience in the Delivery / Consulting / Pre-sales role which involves understanding of Data Engineering solutions for various industry verticals Experience in consulting services to clients, preferably with significant experience in Data Engineering (hands-on experience in data platform technologies is desirable) Strong understanding of Engineering trends and ability to relate business needs to technology trends Excellent communication and presentations skills with an experience in engaging with CXO, VP and Sr. Director level stakeholders from clients business and analytics team and with internal remote teams to define advanced technology solutions to business problems Ability to work with a global team, playing a lead role in communicating client business problem context to the remote teams Every individual comes with a different set of skills and qualities so even if you dont tick all the boxes for the role today, we urge you to apply as there might be a suitable/unique role for you tomorrow.
