Contract Project Manager - Newborn Screening Software Implementation Location: Bangalore Contract Duration: Approximately 18 months Sector: Healthcare Technology About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our custom software for newborn screening labs, specifically for the Newborn Screening Ontario (NSO) and potentially other projects within Canada & the Netherlands. This role is critical to ensuring the successful implementation of health information technology solutions that can significantly impact the health outcomes of newborns. Responsibilities: Project Management for Waters Solution Implementation: Develop and manage the project scope and schedule to ensure timely completion. Ensure all product and project deliverables are met with high standards. Facilitate decision-making processes and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Lead regular coordination meetings and maintain. effective communication between all project team members. Update and maintain project schedules and plans diligently. Preparation for Newborn Screening Data Exchange: Ready the laboratory personnel and infrastructure for electronic Newborn Screening (NBS) data exchange. Develop strategies for engaging hospital partners in the NBS data exchange process. Hospital Relationship Management: Work closely with hospital administrators and experts to ensure readiness for NBS data exchange. Establish and maintain clear communication channels and set expectations for collaboration. Implementation of NBS Data Exchange: Coordinate with messaging partners to establish and follow best practices for electronic messaging. Address technical issues to ensure a seamless data exchange process. Operations and Maintenance: Plan and oversee ongoing maintenance and support for the NBS health data exchange. Monitor and troubleshoot data exchange processes, keeping stakeholders informed about progress and updates. Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager in healthcare technology or related fields. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams across different time zones. Knowledge of newborn screening processes and health information technology solutions is highly desirable. Ability to work remotely for Ontario, Canada and the Netherlands, for the duration of the contract. AM covering the Netherlands, PM covering the Canadian sites. Customer Profile: Newborn Screening Ontario (NSO): Provides NBS for approximately 150,000 babies annually in Ontario. Utilizes OMNI-Lab for comprehensive testing and reporting. Phase 1 and Phase 2 Projects: Involves the integration of OMNI-Lab with third-party vendors for expanded testing capabilities, requiring adept coordination and implementation skills.
