Cables Design Engineer @ Acute Vision

Job Description

In-depth cable designing knowledge of Low Voltage Communication Cables, Fire Survival Cables, Shielded Cables, Instrumentation Cables, Marine Cables, Military/Defense Cables, UL Certified Cables and Special Cables as applicable to industry standards i.e. EN, IEC, IS, UL, etc. Reviewing Clients Specification and Developing Technical Datasheet. Designing Cables, Bill Of Material, Technical Datasheet and Test Reports etc. On hand experience on AutoCad and other cable designing software. Working Closely with the Manufacturing and Process Engineering Team for Product and Process Development. Developing Technical Content for Catalog, Brochure, Packaging, Website and Digital marketing, etc. Research and Development of Raw Materials and assisting in purchase of the same. Research and Development of New Products and Technologies of Cables & Wires. Taking product approvals and giving product presentations to various Private & Government. Authorities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,, or related field. Proven experience in cable design and engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for 2D and 3D modeling. Strong understanding of cable design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in design work. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to cable design and manufacturing (e.g., IPC, UL, NEC). Experience with cable testing and validation techniques is a plus
