Job Description: Manager - IT & Hardware Networking As a Manager - IT & Hardware Networking, your role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the IT infrastructure and hardware networking within an organization. Looking the with Thin Client knowledge, Power user & Standard User differentiation, VW ware use, cloud server uses. Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure Management: Plan, design, and implement the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware networking components such as servers, routers, switches, and storage devices. Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure to support business operations. Hardware Networking Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of hardware networking equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to address hardware issues, procure new equipment, and manage hardware inventory. IT Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day IT operations related to. hardware networking, including server administration, system monitoring, and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a secure and stable network environment. Network Security: Implement and enforce network security measures to protect the organization's data and infrastructure from unauthorized access and potential threats. Monitor network traffic and perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate safeguards. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for hardware networking tasks. Set performance goals, provide guidance and support, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Technology Evaluation and Planning: Stay updated with the latest hardware networking technologies, trends, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new hardware and networking solutions that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with hardware networking vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service levels and deliverables. Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus. Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and hardware networking in a complex organizational environment. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices. Experience with server administration, data center operations, and network security. Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
