Government Sales Representative - CAD/CAM, PLM Solution

Location: Vishakapatna


Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Government Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in promoting and selling CAD/CAM and PLM solutions to government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government sales, an understanding of procurement processes, and a proven track record of successfully navigating the complexities of selling to government entities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Government Account Management:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies at various levels.
    • Understand government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  2. Prospecting and Lead Generation for Government Sector:
    • Identify and research potential government clients interested in CAD/CAM and PLM solutions.
    • Generate leads through government-focused networking, events, and targeted outreach.
  3. Product Knowledge and Customization:
    • Develop a deep understanding of our CAD/CAM and PLM software solutions and their applicability to government projects.
    • Work with technical teams to customize solutions to meet specific government requirements.
  4. Proposal Development for Government Contracts:
    • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts adhering to government regulations.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure proposals meet government standards.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure that CAD/CAM and PLM solutions comply with government security and data protection standards.
    • Stay abreast of changing government regulations affecting technology solutions.
  6. Sales Targets in the Government Sector:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets specifically within the government sector.
    • Track and report on government sales metrics and activities.
  7. Market Research for Government Opportunities:
    • Stay informed about government projects, initiatives, and funding opportunities.
    • Provide insights on how CAD/CAM and PLM solutions can address government challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in government sales, preferably in the technology or software sector.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of CAD/CAM and PLM solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
