We urgently require below positions for leading Restaurant & Bar and Catering Co in Ethiopia (Country in East Africa)
Position: F&B Managers 02 Nos (must manage both Hotel & Catering Division)
Department: Operation
Report To: Operation Manager and General Manager
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Job Summary
- The F&B Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for leading and motivating our staff, maintaining high food and beverage quality, driving sales, and fostering a positive dining experience for all guests. Additionally, you will provide support in the development and launch of our new catering service.
Responsibilities
Restaurant and Catering Operations:
- Overseeing all aspects of food and beverage service to ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to restaurant staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Set clear expectations, goals, and objectives for the team, offering regular performance feedback and coaching.
- Design and implement training programs to keep staff up-to-date on industry trends, company policies, and new skills.
- Oversee the onboarding and training of new employees, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for all guests.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
- Gather customer feedback and utilize it to improve operations and menu offerings.
- Oversee consistency in service, food, and beverage quality.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment following health and safety regulations.
- Manage the Front-of-House (FOH) service team, focusing on upselling, staff attentiveness, and peak hour efficiency.
- Drive the service team to achieve daily sales targets.
- Inventory cost control
Food and Beverage Quality and Service:
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to maintain consistent food quality that meets company standards.
- Monitor service speed and accuracy, providing feedback and coaching to improve efficiency.
- Maintain positive guest relations by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Catering Support:
- Assist in developing and launching Cravings' new catering service.
- Work with the catering team to establish operational procedures and service standards.
- Design and implement training programs
- Onboarding and training of new servers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles
Reporting:
- Prepare monthly reports on training activities, individual staff performance progress, and departmental sales (Bar, G&G, and restaurant) compared to monthly targets.
Salaries & other benefits:
- Duration of the employment: - One year with possible extension based on the performance of the employee (long term)
- Working Hours: - 48hrs/week
- Salary: - USD 1500 2000 (depend on experience)
