Site Project Manager @ Capacite

Job Description

MitKat is looking for a Site project lead to deploy at its Clients location on a strategically important project on an immediate basis. The position is expected to provide a skilled facilitation service to support the Client in achieving the expectations. This means employing effective organizational and administrative processes, together with the knowledge and experience of ELV system design and project management smart practices to facilitate the successful achievement of the project objectives. Role for the position: a. Assess the project scope, understand the Clients requirement and accurately convert the requirement in technical documents (specifications, calculation notes, BOQs, AutoCAD drawings, budgetary estimates etc.) b. Conduct oral presentations and group meetings c. Assist Client in the technical evaluation of the bids received d. Handle RFIs received from multiple stakeholders timely and issue necessary clarifications e. During project execution: Assist client. to arrange POC as per project requirement Analyzes the project technical documents in order to validate the shop drawing submitted by vendors, material received on-site, site execution work and project compliances as per Clients policy and highlight any issues to the respective stakeholders. Analyze and flag project risks, modification or anticipated difficulty in time and coordinate for change management Identify project criticalities and activity priorities and drive the project to meet the set objective to consistently meet the given deadlines. Use sound judgment to identify which issues and risks should be escalated to particular groups and prepare relevant reports/ documentation. Manages different interfaces by coordinating the activities of the team with all the stakeholders of the project (other disciplines, project team, working sites, construction, installation, etc.) f. Raise invoices and accruals processed promptly with appropriate sign-offs on completion of project milestones for MitKat. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: a. Bachelor of Engineering, preferably Mechanical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation b. Well-versed with ELV system design and project management in security systems including but not limited to Video surveillance, Access control, Alarms, security lighting etc. Should have Min. 3 years of experience of designing of ELV system Should have overall 6 years of hands-on experience of ELV system project implementation and coordination with various project stakeholders. c. Good in appropriate and timely resolution or escalation of any issues that cropped up. d. Working knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint and AutoCAD Personal attributes Strong communication skills including written and oral presentation skills Planning, Organizing, coordination skills Sound judgment, initiative and decision-making skills Problem-solving skills Effective time management Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Good interpersonal relationship Demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity, and confidentiality Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised A reasonable level of fitness
