Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Specialist in Odoo/ERP to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building a client base and driving revenue growth through the sales and promotion of Odoo and ERP solutions. As a BDM, your responsibilities will include managing the entire sales cycle from lead stage to prospect qualification, opportunity, proposal, RFI/RFP, BRD, SLA, presentations, closure of sale, and nurture the relationship for future business. Responsibilities: Identify potential clients through market research, industry events, and online platforms. Generate and qualify leads to build a strong sales pipeline. Conduct initial client consultations to understand their business needs and challenges. Educate clients about the benefits of Odoo solutions and how they can address their specific requirements. Engage with prospective businesses to position Odoo solutions through strategic value-based selling, business. case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data. Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations to clients. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the proposed solutions align with client needs. Negotiate contract terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Close sales deals and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty. Provide post-sales support and act as a liaison between clients and the technical team. Stay up to date with industry trends and Odoo product updates to provide informed advice to clients. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed deals. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecasts. Foster and develop relationships with new and existing customers/clients, understand the needs and pain areas of customers, and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these with appropriate solutions. Requirements: Bachelors degree in IT/CS or masters degree in business/Sales/Marketing or a related field. 6+ Years of minimum experience as a Sales & Business Development Manager in a service/product-based IT company. Proven track record in B2B sales and business development, in ERP software solutions. Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP or any other ERP systems is a must. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Proven track record in leading full sales cycle. Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch. Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
