We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Quality Inspector to join our team located in Chennai, India. In this role you will ensure products at sub-contracted and FLS manufacturing shops are built in accordance with FLS and Customer specifications. Job Responsibilities Travel to and perform inspection of manufacturing in various stages of completion as required by Project ITPs. Ensure shop measuring and other equipment is calibrated Ensuring manufacturing at shops is undertaken in compliance to required standards and specifications Identify quality issues and assist in implementation of solutions Ensure shop personnel have appropriate qualification. and work is being done in accordance with approved procedures Assist in raising Non-conformance Reports when found during inspection Initiation of action to prevent re-occurrence of non-conformances Perform New Supplier Assessments, and Sustainability audits Immediately report to a manager and/or supervisor any incident resulting in harm or damage. The immediate rectification (if possible) and notification to management and/or supervisor of any actual or potential safety, quality or environmental incident, hazard, or occurrence. Where relevant, oversees quality control functions in assigned countries outside home country Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the companys operational activities Any other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor. What You Bring Experience in inspection. Trade background preferred. Experience in quality administration Strong computing skills Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Solid communication skills Hardworking and hands-on attitude Ability to analyze and problem solve. Strong customer service skills to build trusting relationships with your internal customers and vendors. Demonstrated Industry and Product knowledge of mineral processing in mining Sector is desirable. Team player, able to interface positively with all team members. Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
