Roles and Responsibilities
1. Should have experience in KST dept. in Inflight catering services, reputed hotels/restaurants.
2. Supervision of Chefs and Kitchen Stewarding helpers.
3. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, control, maintain and manage kitchen inventory and food supplies to ensure a superior standard and offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service.
4. Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services.
5. Ensure Back House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards as per HACCP and cleaning schedules are followed and completed.
6. Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient.
7. Ensure water temperature, and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and documented.
8. Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories.
9. Prepare monthly reports on shortages in silverware and equipment and requisition replacements as required while following budget guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate should have ideally have a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality management with more than 6 years experience in Inflight catering services/ hotels in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary services in a Stewarding department.
