Job Description

  • Provide expertise in transitioning new Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities & solutions into production environments from non-production (delivery) environments.
  • Onboarding/integrate new users and applications onto existing IAM capabilities & solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for products, solutions, and capabilities across the IAM portfolio.
  • The role will focus on all aspects of IAM solutions spanning Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management (Authentication, Authorization, MFA, SSO, etc.), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • The IQVIA IAM system landscape consists of both custom-built solution(s), SaaS/cloud services, and commercial off the shelf (COTS) products, including SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk PAS, Radiant Logic VDS, Azure AD, PingFederate, & WSO2.
  • Lead the transition activities for new IAM solutions and capabilities from the delivery teams into production services. Lead the onboarding of additional users and applications to consume IAM solutions and services.
  • Forge strong partnerships with the IAM delivery teams, delivery partners, and operational support teams.
  • Collaborate with operational support partners to review/assess onboarding requests to ensure alignment with standards, strategy, and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IAM solutions, including: infrastructure/topology/architecture, functional capabilities, and product configurations. Serve as an escalation point (e.g. Tier 4) for the operational support teams.
  • Author support and operational documentation (e.g. system/ops manual, user guide, knowledge-base articles, etc.); facilitate review and approval of support and operational documentation. Perform support and operational duties during the post-go-live hyper-care period, prior to formal transition to operational support. Participate in user acceptance test (UAT) delivery activities (e.g. test case development, test data development, test case execution, troubleshooting/root cause analysis). Update, manage, and maintain IAM solution & service data in the CMDB. Ensure solutions are effectively monitored for function, performance, and capacity.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise authentication and authorization
  • Strong technical knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols: OIDC, SAML, XACML, LDAP
  • Web Single sign-on, AD, attribute-based access control, privileged access management and MFA expertise
  • Web application development and scripting experience
  • Experience in integration of various authentication and identity propagation methods with enterprise applications and/or systems
  • Root cause analysis, technology evaluation and design reviews
  • Experience in estimating and planning technical work effort and ability to execute within agreed-upon timelines
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences
  • Secondary Technical Skills
  • Previous experience within the Information Security and/or IAM technical domains
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery experience
  • Understanding of secure software development practices - AppSec
  • Understanding of unique delivery needs within regulated environments
  • Web application server knowledge like IIS, WebLogic, or Tomcat
  • Scripting/automation experience using PowerShell, VBScript, python, or bash
  • Experience with common IAM solution(s) (e.g. SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk PAS, Radiant Logic VDS, Azure AD, PingFederate, WSO2)
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical system, configuration, or onboarding/transition experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience focused on Information Security solutions
  • Security certifications are a plus
  • Extensive use of the telephone and face-to-face communications, which requires accurate communication skills
  • Significant amount of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time
  • Travel may be required
